Project assumptions

We arranged a builder to completely refurbish the room including the removal of a wall to bring the TV room INTO the kitchen space.

A busy family home which needed to be the new HUB of the home.

All the electrical works and plumbing works had to be factored into the preparation too.

The build/prep was all done the week before we started the kitchen installation.

So no long breaks in any works to offer the quickest and smoothest transition from OLD to NEW.

We had the create the new “over-mantle” feature around the range cooker one of the walls was existing so we had to add the additional one in and make it look like it was always part of the room structure.

The kitchen is from the Second Nature Collection door range in Fitzroy shaker style in a painted finish two colours Porcelain & Graphite. Our painted ranges are not “stock” items they are painted “to-order” maintaining a perfect colour match to all parts utilised. Any stock kitchen furniture cannot maintain this level of quality it’s just not possible and our clients deserve & expect the very best finishes.

The worktops are also from the second Nature Collection in Hail Storm quartz mixed with some very natural Rustic Oak solid timber.

You cannot beat the warmth that a mixture of surfaces creates.

Clever storage solutions and bespoke units were created to help store the clients utilities and we even made a new media unit in the new TV area.

Our usual quality Kessebohmer storage solutions are also included in the lovely anthracite finish to match the Hettich drawers we use. Keeping this colour throughout is very important as the look creates a matched feeling of quality. These components all carry cast iron warranties as you expect from German engineering.

We selected a Blanco Belfast style double bowl sink with matching Vicus traditional styled tap and Neff integrated equipment where possible.

A truly stunning kitchen and one we are very proud to have installed.

Thank you for the opportunity.

Customer review:

So pleased with our kitchen. We moved into our house 5 years ago and I always hated the kitchen so spent the last 5 years collecting ideas and saving. Anglia Interiors were recommended to me through a family member who had used them and I cannot fault their professionalism and friendly approach. Arron used our ideas and designed exactly what we wanted, adding in things we hadn’t thought about but in a non pushy way. He clearly knows his stuff and is passionate about his area of expertise.

Work started at the end of October with a wall being knocked down. We used Stuart, a builder Arron recommended who was really good and Matt, his electrician. Unfortunately we hit a hurdle in that a wall we all thought was non structural turned out to be supporting the upstairs floor so with both Stuart and Arron’s help (and a structural engineer’s calculations) we redesigned some of the features to fit the new kitchen without compromising on the initial design. I am so pleased with the finished results.

Andy, who fitted the kitchen was so skilled, professional, always on time and clearly extremely good at what he does.

I would thoroughly recommend Anglia Interiors to everyone. Reliable, friendly and I believe great value without compromising on quality – I’m already planning where I can design next to involve them.

Just before the kitchen was installed, Arron also designed our office and Anglia Interiors fitted the same – we wanted a functional space but also proper cupboards for coats – we are delighted with the end result.

Thank you to everyone and the team again! It is everything we envisaged it to be, only better and the proper family hub of the house which I hope to enjoy for years to come!
